TECHNOLOGY

Our technology is designed to facilitate 3D communication through
a language of shape and other information.

The capabilities of our 3D system include:

  • High level geometry and polyhedra:

- Interpolating and approximating parametric curves and surfaces:

Hermite, spline, lagrange, bezier, bspline.

- Function based curves and surfaces.

- Curves and surfaces based on user-defined mathematical expressions.

- Bilinear, ruled and skinned surfaces.

- Generative surfaces including extruded, revolved and swept.
- Quad mesh (no-interpolation).

- Region (surface area with arbitrary boundary).

  • Uniform and adaptive tessellation of geometry.

  • Boolean set operations on polygons and polyhedral solids.

  • Trimming and slicing of geometry.

  • Composite geometry (solids, surfaces and curves).

  • Mathematical functions: Polynomials, and one and two dimensional
    interpolants (linear, cubic-spline, polynomial and rational function).

  • Mathematical expressions: Embedded mathematical engine allows
    evaluation of user defined mathematical expressions.

  • Simple and composite objects (assembly of components).

  • Animation tools.

  • Proprietary rendering engine as well as Direct3D rendering.

  • Rendering modes: point, line, silhouette, isoparam curve and shaded.

  • Multiple cameras/viewports.

  • Dynamic tessellation and adaptive rendering.

  • Anti-aliasing with built-in and user-defined filter shapes.
